We launched a metaverse island for The Ocean Race and Virtual Regatta. Through this 3D immersive world, the user was be able to attend live streams, test their luck competing with real skippers, visit the sport village and so much more... This first pilot offered a digitalised alternative to the physical The Ocean Race and is a step into more sustainable sporting events.
